Join us for a candid reflection on navigating disability discrimination in the workplace. We’ll walk through the anatomy of a discrimination complaint and discuss the importance of care, community, and rest during the process.

Discrimination in the workplace is widespread. An estimated 61% of employees have witnessed or experienced discrimination based on their ability, race, gender, sexuality, or age. Employers usually have avenues to report and address these issues. But what kind of toll does it take on us?

In this talk, Kaitlin will dig into the realities of navigating discrimination at work. She’ll start with an overview of types of discrimination, including how to spot it. Next, she’ll talk through employee rights and resources for approaching complaints. Lastly, she’ll share tips for care, rest, and openness during difficult moments like these.
